This has nothing to do with Harry Potter other than that she was in two of the films fifteen - twenty years ago.

Well yes, my point was we shouldn't have to settle for this sort of thing when an actual high quality version would be so easy for Fox to make.

Why upscale when they went to the effort of re-scanning the film in HD? It looks so good and has no artefacts. It's a crime that they defaced it with bad cropping and colour grading.

If you have to psych yourself up with a little rhyme before you do everything, maybe reconsider your life choices.

Evil has no birthplace, it has always existed in all people. Evil was there long before 'The West' or 'Middle East' were things. Religions don't cause evil or intolerance, but some religions can be easily used to justify stoning gay people to death, or killing women for daring to be independant. If the bible didn't command that gay people be murdered, or if Islam didn't command that apostates be slain, it would be much harder to justify these evil acts. This isn't a problem of religion, it's a problem of cultures that take their religion too seriously.

This pressure is coming from the payment providers without whom no storefront can operate. We need alternatives to Visa and Mastercard.

This isn't a secret plot by systemd, this is gnome making dependency choices and a distro that explicitly doesn't support the new dependency being left in the cold. That's just how dependencies work.

One of the things that Deus Ex captured really well was the pseudonymous federated internet; interactions between random strings on different networks that could go on and on without either party learning who they were speaking to. Alex Jacobson had no idea that the Oracle he was receiving messages from was actually a self aware AI on the net.
