So, all I am suggesting is that you take some acres in a corner somewhere in every forest and make a gun range. This would keep the noise and trash in one place and would also allow the forest rangers and BLM to police the areas and enforce rules and safety.

That definitely helps. The wildlife refuge nearest me is set up like that. As soon as you enter there is a nice, free, maintained shooting range right there. It does help corral the randos that just come out to make noise.

My cat cares not for PSPSPS, but if you yell "what the fuck are you doing?" he'll run over like you were waving a fresh salmon at him.

I'm pretty stubborn. I'd probably just drag it across the parking lot like a neanderthal and let the asphalt grind flat spots onto the wheels.

In the song, it's a disease that causes people to get all stabby.

I can understand people being scared of big dogs.

It wasn’t until after I realised that non-dog people would have shit themselves and shown fear. Which could have triggered the dog to attack.

So that's a well founded fear; no? IMO if your pet, regardless what it is, requires other people to know how to act to avoid being possibly mauled; it has absolutely no business being in public.

You can get new WD drives for ~18usd/Tb. https://www.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-red-sata-hdd?sku=WD60EFAX

I wouldn't mess with older drives unless they were less than half the price. In that case set them up raid 1 and send it.

They are cheap and work decent most of the time. I have a few and don't have many complaints. But I also treat them as if they were publicly accessible. I hope someone got to watch my cats out in their catio and it made their day better.
