Doesn't matter how often these programs are shown to save lives there's always some conservative stroking his rock hard erection while he talks about taking these programs away and fantasises about the number of young people he is indirectly murdering.

I don't take drugs (well except ones purchased from a pharmacy) never touched anything harder than a bit of weed, but I have at least one friend who has a child that survived their teens thanks to pill testing.

What fucking ghouls.

I think the timeline got a bit fucky here too, shouldn't one side of the alleged paedophiles face be trying to hide in one of his jowls? Oh and someone applied the make up correctly so you can't see all the disgusting skin mottling?

0 out of 10, worse than The Last Jedi.

Ultima Underworld, Thief, System Shock and after a short pause they drop this. Amazing company.

I miss Never mind the Buzzcocks. Can someone reach out to Noel Fielding for a comment on this news?

So glad I moved from a FTTP connected house to a Fixed Wireless serviced area. Not jealous at all.

Although I am setting higher than advertised download speeds, which I think may be due to having a 4th gen connection in an area where almost everyone I talk to is using 2nd gen and doesnt seem to understand why you would want to update.

I mean yeah, but the fact that serious drama in a scandi country was seen as transgressive humour in Australia, does that not prove my point.

I knew what that was going to be before I checked the link. I see you are a cultured individual.

Are they concerned about the profitability and long term viability of the black market? I mean why else would you go out of your way to incentivise people participating in it?

So twice as long between new phones, what sort of monster are you! Expecting the poor multinationals to build a phone for you and not have its effective lifespan artificially limited by the compromised battery solutions is basically communism, or socialism or woke.

{Insert phone company} loves you and only wants what's best for you, it's super distressing to {insert phone company} that they put so much into the relationship and you are so cold and dismissive of them. You should go and buy a {insert new full retail price product} to make it up to them.

Hey, no argument needed, if it's not reaching you that's fine, I had people tell me Wheel of Time wasn't an insult to the source material regularly and it didn't move me at all.

I have a different take and that's also perfectly OK and not an argument that should move you at all. I see from your other posts that you are going to try to lower your expectations and just see where it goes, that's more or less how I took WoT, can't say it worked out well in that case, but I hope for your sake Alien:Earth turns out far better.

I wonder if you would scoff that I find it more faithful to the setting so far than Alien:Resurrection?

PS I count myself as one of the apparently very few people who really didn't mind Alien³ so much, and simply saw it as a real world example of executive meddling that wouldn't be out of place in universe.

Perhaps he should come here and air his grievances in person. Oh wait he can't now why can't he travel anywhere that respects international law again?

"How dare he stand up to foreign influence based upon the majority opinion of the country he represents, what a weakling." Said the individual who starts international conflicts whenever it looks like his own citizens are sick enough of his bullshit to get rid of him.

So I responded to a post by donaldjmusk@lemmy.today on conservative@lemmy.today (yeah yeah I know don't feed the troll, but sometimes you just feel the need to be perverse) where he kept making disingenuous points and for some reason was quoting small sections of my replies back into his.

Too late I realised he is a mod on that community and he had been curating his responses so he could ban me and delete my comments and mischaracterize the conversation. I am guessing that references to the sexual proclivities of his idol hurt his fefes. But still he could try arguing his side rather than do that crap.

So anyway just thought I would put the word out that this is the new fun tactic.

Beau Miles, an Australian adventurer and super optimist, is trying to plant a bunch of trees.

A lot of Beaus content is about the power of positivity and the environment, I would suggest he is worth a watch in general. Even better when he is trying to achieve something worthwhile.

Can Lemmy help?

Not sure how widely this little drama is known outside of Tassie. But this farce just keeps getting more ridiculous.

Episode 7 "GoldenEyes" is out.

This is it, this "balanced reporting" and uninformed electorate is going to lead to Potato Head getting in.

We had a single election cycle of Labor and they didn't manage to completely fix our economy and all the Liberal fuckery of the previous 2 cycles, so we better give the liberals another chance to fuck us harder.

Every time I run into a Liberal voter I ask the same question "What one thing is most illustrative of them being strong on the economy?"

I have never been given a good answer.

PS not a huge Labor fan either but I know which side of the Overton window I prefer to be pushing on.
