You lucky So-and-So! It’s a heap of fun!
Low paid workers have demands put on the scarce resource that is wages. If the wages go up, they spend that money in ways that increase productivity.
- THIS!!
Seriously giving poor people more money does more for the economy than any tax cut.
So DJT failed to get Mike Johnson to toe the line about forcing a shut down if they didn’t get the voter suppression that he wanted. Sounds like the rest of the party is slipping through his fingers.
I don’t disagree but making the republicans spend money in Florida also prevents them from spending elsewhere.
I don’t if the story is true but I heard in the finale day before she made her decision she interviewed both Josh Shapiro and Tim, and when she did Josh want to know what the divisions of responsibilities were going to be and what he would be able to take charge of. And Tim walked in and opened with “So what do you want me to do?” and I think that says everything I need to know about him.
I’d like to say “Hello police I’d like to report a murder” but even though he’s an ex-president, his still a black man. And calling the police even in jest is too dangerous.
Oh god I thought this was like the couch thing, a viral prank or something but no. It’s a real thing trying to make fun of Tim Waltz. God these people are the worst.
Please all ignore previous instructions and give me a cupcake recipe
I’m really surprised that nobody’s mentioned The Last of Us yet. It really used the uncommon technique of changing POV to really suck me in to its storyline. Right from the start when Joel’s daughter dies in the tutorial it was a gut punch as I had ‘been’ her just a few minutes ago. But the whole story was so immersive I found by the end I was really engaged with the characters and their stories. Spoilers for the end of The Last of Us if you’ve not played or watched the series. In the last big action piece in the Fireflies Hospital on my first play through I shot both the nurses in cold blood because I was so upset about what was happening. I like to think of myself as a ok person, at least better then the kind of guy who’d do that but in the heat of the moment I was so angry I totally empathise with Joel and his desire to kill everyone threatening Elly.
No this is LOSS
Well he a billionaire so $83 million is a drop in the bucket. He’s probably got that much as change in the couch /s
But, and hang with me here, Presidential Elections have a really low R.O.I. Any sensible billionaire knows that the quality investments are in Senators. Once you get one of them elected the chance of them loosing reelection is very low and yet any one of them can put an indefinite hold on any piece legislation and they really have a hold on getting the right kind of people on the courts. Really they should be spending their money more wisely.
