But why wouldn't they use .local/share/Trash instead? Isn't that supposed to be a unified directory for that very purpose?
I still use the one on Reddit (courtesy of r/ piracy), but I know there is a mirror of it hosted somewhere else. I just don't have the link for it.
Of all the stupid money pit projects they could drop and focus on Firefox and Thunderbird.... they drop privacy advocacy. Might as well drop the browser engine and MDN, to ensure Mozilla loses ALL positive impact on the world, yeah?????

Time to never buy any book from them again. I'm moving on to pirating ebooks and audiobooks. Sorry JRR and Christopher Tolkien (may you rest in peace), but I'm not buying any more of your books because they were published by HarperCollins. And I'm also not buying a lot of other books too.
When I started living by myself a while back, I realised how much random housework was being done by my parents. There's the obvious ones like cooking, shopping and doing the dishes. But there's also meal planning, cleaning, buying non-obvious essentials like toiletries, and more, which I wouldn't normally think about.
And it was at 2.92% in Oct 23, so that's approx 38% increase in 4 months! If we keep this level of growth for a year, we're looking at 7.67% marketshare in a year from now!
I firmly believe this will be the year of the Wayland Desktop. Everything is shaping up to finishing off the transition for regular people and further stabilisation of the Wayland desktop space.

I like the idea of FreeBSD, but I can't see the point of giving up on my Linux conveniences to switch over to it. What advantages does it provide, and are they worth the switch, considering I'm losing a lot of software, as well as any semblance of gaming?
Can confirm. I'm basically running the same setup except I'm using a managed Nextcloud instance cuz I currently can't self host.
