This specific point of terrorizing the boss? Nope. I just went and checked. They combined two story beats into one in episode 10. They had Alicia grinding in the dark-element dungeon (instead of just getting lost in it) with Yumiella's help and beating the boss over and over again. That is where they found the dark and light swords (and a wind spear for Patrick). However, the boss never really showed recognition of Yumiella or terror at her approach.
Now we are back in Saki's POV. It's great to see Kanon having fun and being social, but it is certainly a change for Saki. I think that it is an interesting idea to explore the dependence that builds up between somebody that takes on the role of a caretaker and the one being taken care of. Now that Saki isn't needed as much by Kanon, how does their relationship change?
I can't say I am a huge fan of Kanon's mom pushing for them to be living apart...like, what's the harm? Does she want Kanon to be more independent? If that is the case, it's already happening (as Saki is finding out). In any case, I do agree that there is a big difference between being roommates and just living very close to one another.
They really underplayed how much PTSD Yumiella gives this dungeon boss. I remember feeling genuinely bad for it by the time her trip ended when I read this in the WN.
We just cracked a dozen chapters and she already realized her feelings. Good stuff!
Just FYI, I enabled threads for this show starting with next episode. I also added this community in the related communities portion. Have fun!
So, this thread got posted a day early because of some inaccuracies in the AniList api. It seems like it has been corrected now so that episodes should be posted at the right time going forward. Sorry if this post caused people to start looking for the episode when it hasn't come out yet!
That little omake at the end was so adorable. Chokki-chan just needs her fix sometimes, you know?
I will never not love Aqua and Eris jokes.
This one is sugar overload. I was annoyed in the beginning when they waited until the end of break to hang out, but they certainly made the most of it.
The pens! Also, I see a bit of Suzuki watching us in that sword reflection.
I haven't read the latest on this one, but it was a fun premise. It's still very early in the story though.
Some of those Sumi faces seemed like straight traces of Kubo when she went into moe-blob form.
