To actually be beneficial as a reflector, the foil would need to be a specific distance from the antenna, which should be a certain fraction of the wavelength. Source: I used to make parabolic reflectors out of milk cartons about twenty years ago.

It's good that you're getting help when you need it. I also see a lot of people having problems with cognitive functions lately. I think it's caused by a number of things:
- Politics. I'm not expanding that one.
- The aftermath of Covid-19. Lots of people with brain fog and other lingering issues of body and mind.
- The temperature. temperatures above 22 °C/72 °F can also cause brain fog.
- Atmospheric CO2 levels. The current levels of CO2 in the atmosphere can cause indoors levels to peak higher than before. It has health risks.
- Unhealthy online habits. I find it quite difficult to not fall for the "engagement" traps designed to make you stick around on different websites, so you can be served more ads. The ads are not the problem, the bait is a lot of times.
I wish I would have learned how to dance as a kid.
The negative prices are partly caused by the way the grids are designed. Basically, where the solar parks are today, used to be end of the line in the coal power days. So the grid can't handle the influx of energy in that area. It remains to be seen if this will still be the case in a few years, assuming the grid will be expanded in these areas. We would still need some form of storage though.
North-East Netherlands. Besides the dialect, every sentence is ended with the word "ja", which means yes/yeah. It's like saying "It rains, yeah", or "Let's take a look, yeah". It's also drawn long, like jaaaa. Also, a lot of nouns are ended with "gie" in the dialect, making it a diminutive.
Singles. The vinyl ones, not the hot ones in your area.
I read about a quarter of it. It was a lot of back story and history building. I personally like a more in your face story telling, where the back story is unveiled as you go along. I'm also not so concerned about the technology behind it all, though that wasn't so much that it was distracting.
Sure thing, McGyver...
Me too, but I think that one was already done before...
Off topic: My wife's work recieved flour in the mail. Unfortunately, she works in city hall, so it was quite a scare since it could have contained anthrax. It turned out to be promotional action from some hotel.
It's the low countries because it's the land around the river delta's, not because of the height of the land. It's originally meant as downriver.
True, but what I see in chemical engineering is college graduates not being very able to use Excel, because they all used Aspen and other very expensive software in college.
