Please provide anything supplementary stating the desire to remove it was a political one. Cocaine does not belong at the White House. I concede due process should be followed and storing it for 7 years securely was probably the better option, but you’re just making assumptions for what is also a very reasonable stance.
All signs that this was political in the NYPost article here are conjecture. What do you have that’s concrete?

Ronald was an amazing man. You can disagree with him politically and still say he was an interesting man. I personally agree with his politics but I admire most his sense of humor. I wish more presidents could have his sense of humor.
I would have preferred if the bullet that hit him had done its job. He's a piece of authoritarian Christian trash. The world is only worse for him having lived.
