Thr first sentence of this article is utter bs. Streaming is *finally starting to pay off for media companies

It always has, I highly doubt hulu netflix and all the other greedy entities are losing $

Right? FAANG has been a thing for over a decade, and the N is Netflix.

Netflix won't be able to compete for long though, as Disney is basically buying most of the popular content. The way content licensing works (with exclusives, etc) just doesn't allow for a free market. The only way to have a free market is if all streamers have the same content library and they have to compete on quality, service, etc.
