There are two options I take. The more simple one is to add a few spoonfuls worth of cereal into the milk and eat that before it gets soggy, then repeat. The more strict method is to have 2 separate bowls: milk and cereal. Get a spoonful of milk, add cereal to that spoonful only, eat, then repeat. I was pretty picky as a child and couldn't understand how other kids were able to eat soggy cereal.
