You forget that his conviction is unjust. He is being persecuted. However the in the entirety of criminal convictions he stands alone. Everyone else is clearly guilty because who would persecute anybody because of their race, or their beliefs, or because they look like someone else. That's just crazy talk. /s
The law, for conservatives, is only held against their enemies.
"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."
I mean, you SAY /s, but thats the image he's putting forward of how he legit thinks. Without the /s in his eyes...
