Good old Mike! This guy is so fucking good to listen to. We need more comrades with that perfect rhetoric.
I've been searching a lot for someone contemporary who can deliver a speech the same way Parenti could and I haven't really found anyone. Maybe it has something to do with the way academia has changed to be much more tightly controlled, leaving no room for dissidents.
Vijay Prashad is a great speaker
Even papa Parenti was kicked out of his faculty position for his opinions. Truly progressive movements have a history of being oppressed in the imperial core.
I also hope someone can rally the crowd like he used to be able too, but in the modern era.
