Trump’s gambit is bad, but Vance’s is even worse. He’s one of Ohio’s senators; these are his constituents. How can he endanger them like this?

That’s false. They’ll never be happy. They’ll just shift to the next target.

Their persuit of happiness is going to end up with him in a bunker shooting themselves in the head while the allies advance

Man I really wanna believe that because thinking that people like them could never be happy brings me a sense of solace in a kind of 'turns our there is still such a thing as consequences' type of way

Believe it.

The Haitians never did anything to them. It’s just a scapegoat for a systemic anxiety at seeing the world move on without them. Killing some innnocent Haitians will not solve that problem.

Too bad they lack the introspection to realize it, so they are going to do it to group after group, looking for an imaginary racial purity that never existed. Until they are dealt with.

It's true. The basics of fascism are that you need an outgroup to blame for everything. If you somehow kill the outgroup, you have to invent a new one. Otherwise, people start asking for actual solutions to societal problems, and fascists don't know what to do with that.
