Brush: Zenith B40 28mm Boar

Lather: Martin de Candre - Fougère - Soap
Toner: Thayers - Rose - Toner
Aftershave: Fabergé - Brut - Aftershave
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Today's shave was a test shave of a razor that was sent to me for honing. I put a Jnat edge on it and this edge is just killer. Much of the credit for this result comes down to the lack of wear on the blade, great geometry, and steel (Solingen) that can take a great edge.
How's the MdC soap? Thinking about getting Agrumes...
I really like it. There are others that don't, though. I load from the tub, overload the brush and face lather starting from pasty and ending where I like feel of hydration.
If it was less expensive, that would facilitate the choice 😎
Cost per shave is pretty low. I don't remember what it was, but EldrormR calculated for the brain bowl he killed last year.
Cost per shave being low seems to be consensus – but I'm not sure if I want to commit to having MdC in the rotation for the next 20 years 🤷
