TL:DR the cells dont run doom, they are used as a screen.
still impressive, but it would be nice if these articles could be honest. same with the pregnancy test "running" doom
To be fair, that is the case with a lot of those "it runs doom" examples. I think the pregnancy test doom was like that, just used the window of the pregnancy test to display doom.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck .. at some point you have to come to the conclusion that it's a duck.
