Sorry, but I'm honestly hoping Cars wins this. Fuckcars is so obnoxious and pretentious. Like, I get it, cars are terrible for the environment/communal spaces, but there's a lot that needs to change before everyone can eliminate their personal vehicle. That sub acts like you're Satan if you own a car.
ETA: thanks for proving my point with all of the vitriol. One guy blaming cancer on me for my cars brakes. One guy openly admitting that you don't get change unless you upset people so why be nice? Except, you have to upset the right people. Not your potential allies. That just alienates instead. But hey, keep yelling at a guy who said you yell too much. That will really show em ๐
They act like athiest vegans. They completely fuck up the message.

Their main problem is they want to only advocate their ideal world, ignoring all the necessary steps in-between. Real "society is evil so go live in the woods instead" vibes. They don't want to be a part of current society, and often don't want to be a part of the actual change - they just want to live in an imagined utopia.
What in-between steps? Undermining corporate-created car culture is a great way to get address some of the many problems from cars and their ubiquitous, unpleasant, incredibly wasteful infrastructure.
I hate cars, for some very good reasons, and I'll keep hating them even if it makes people uncomfortable.
I'm tired of breathing in your carcinogenic brake pad dust and exhaust fumes. I don't want microplastics from car tires in my brain (too late). Did you know noise pollution from traffic is linked to early mortality? That cars are easily one of the leading causes of death in countries like the US, for multiple reasons? Fuck cars.
Thanks for being that guy. So, when you gonna get the new trains and busses running? How you gonna do that? I'll be waiting.
