How so? It seems like a basic "money can be exchanged for goods and services" sort of thing and I don't see any connection between it and a source's reliability or lack thereof.

If one of the most 'well funded by billionaire investors' rags needs a paywall to produce goods, those goods are clearly not worth purchasing or otherwise viewing.
