MODERATORS
The only thing I utilize is the rule of cool. If it sounds cool, their biology will have it. ๐
I'd say that's the best way to do it. I like to have evolutionary reasons for the biologies my species have, but the plausibility of those reasons are the least of my concerns, lol.
