That just feels like cope to me, there's plenty of characters that are horrible human beings that are also written well.
Edit: Checked the writer out and they also wrote The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat and I swear to god going through that I went "isn't this just redo of healer without the rape?"
Edit edit: it seems that World's Finest Assassin was so forgettable I didn't even remember it had SA scenes.
I think its a well written psychosis that tells the story of a dead child that got abused and was permanently on drugs.
Its supposed to be like that, the author made some very well written novels as well.
