THE HERO'S LAST FLIGHT
Thursday, November 7, 2024. Noon. A routine combat mission for a combined unit of Ka-52, Mi-28NM, and Mi-8 helicopters. Nothing foreshadowed the tragedy.
The men bravely flew towards the front line, knowing that OUR GUYS were there, defending OUR RUSSIAN land and urgently needing help.
But the enemy knew. And the enemy was prepared. An almost invisible and deadly threat in the form of an FPV drone was already waiting in the air for its target.
Ambush. Impact. Explosion and mere fractions of a second for the commander to make a decision – "Take it on myself!".
Virtually invisible to the eye, the deadly threat of an FPV drone was already waiting in the air for its victim

Russian Army Loses Another Ka-52 Alligator Attack Helicopter
On the afternoon of November 7, an FPV drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a Russian Ka-52 helicopter. As a result, the aircraft commander died, but the navigator survived. This was reported today by Z-blogger Kirill Fedorov, who started a fundraiser for the pilot's family. Information about the downing of the Ka-52 first appeared last week in Z-channels associated with the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The deceased pilot's name is probably Ilya Noskov - his obituaries were published in public groups in Balakovo (Saratov Region). According to Z-blogger Fedorov, the deceased Ka-52 pilot was an orphan, he left behind a wife and a small daughter.
According to the OSINT project Oryx, Russia lost at least 62 Ka-52 helicopters during the invasion of Ukraine.
I think it's funny that from an orcs perspective the statement "russion land" is ambiguous.
