Some items I have heard referenced as AK47 of:

Gerber MP600: It's a multi tool

Old Thinkpad Laptops

Mag lights

Toyota Hilux

Ive found them dull all the time, but never broken

Victorinox uses a steel that favours corrosion resistance over hardness. They're easy to sharpen though, I've even used the underside of a ceramic coffee cup.
