How do I move my account to another instance? (lemmy.world)

I'm still quite lost when it comes to the fediverse. I created an account on the main instance, however as I understood more how it works, it seems like certain instances that interest me are "defederated" from this instance, and vice versa. So now I want to move my account to be able to see those instances, however I want to keep my follows and my posts I have on this instance. Is that possible? I read that fediverse is resistant to censorship in this regard, so there must be something I'm missing here.

Unless I’m misreading your comment I was able to pull up the Sign in page just fine. Or are you getting the error after you put in your credentials
