I'm not the guy you're dunking on and I don't think it should be illegal by any means. But I do feel in a true communist society there would be drastically less sex workers than there are now.

I do feel that many people work in the industry out of desperation, but the same goes for many, many, many other jobs.

I have seen how violent things are for sex workers, and the first step to improving that is regulation. Making sex work illegal would only make sex work more dangerous.

I'm not an expert on the topic and don't feel my words carry any weight, but I do feel that we are a long ways away from a society where the only people who look towards sex work are the people who want to be in the line of work, and not those doing it out of necessity.

Until then, we must stand up for sex workers. Many of the people I have seen who think so harshly of it are cis-males, who have never felt true desperation in their lives. Why should their voices be heard over actual sex workers?
