installed Jerboa for Lemmy, but when I try to log in it complains that lemmy.world does not meet minimal version requirement.
The minimal version requirement is 0.18, but the server is running 0.17.4:
when will the server be updated?

Use one of the other apps
couldn't use other app (lemmur) as it doesn't list lemmy.world ๐ข using an older version of jerboa worked though ๐
Lemmy.world upgraded to 0.18.1 so the newest Jerboa should work now.
Check out wefwef too.
there is only one other app on f-droid, I've avoided it since it has not been updated in almost a year. I'll give it a go ๐
