His goal is apparently to eventually make X an “everything” tool. It’s stupid and will flop.
There is a non-zero chance X merges with Reddit based on Steve Huffman's public swooning over Elon Musk vision.
If it doesn't flop, humanity will.
He has all the money and capital in the world to force his dumb idea in to prominence.
Just look at VR or the windows phone and you can see that money only keeps something in the conversation, it doesnt lead to adoption.
So sure, he can keep people talking by burning billions, but thats about it
Makes me think of the Privateer / Elite style X spaceship games, but that's probably because of my personal bias towards games like that.
Everyone else would probably think Porn or the X-games first.
