On a whim purchased Balatro last week.

I swear it's the most addictive game I've played in so long.

I paid $15 for Balatro, and it's absolutely bonkers. Fairly simple but you end up facing some hard choices as the game goes on.

It won indie game of the year for 2024 and makes complete sense.

I've got it on my phone and I get hooked a bit, but it hadn't gotten me the way it has for other people. It's good, I think I just haven't gotten as deep into it as I could

That's good. I get hooked on games something fierce. You're lucky to not that have that pitfall.

These days I'm more the type to sit down and play Dark Souls for 3 hours. My biggest problem with roguelikes is I always have shit luck and either end up with a trash build or the things I'm angling for fall apart during the big blind
