Billions. With a B.

In 2022, undocumented immigrants paid $75.6 billion in taxes, which was a significant contribution to the U.S. economy. This includes:

  • $46.6 billion in federal taxes
  • $29.0 billion in state and local taxes
  • $22.6 billion to Social Security
  • $5.7 billion to Medicare
  • $25.7 billion in Social Security taxes
  • $6.4 billion in Medicare taxes
  • $1.8 billion in unemployment insurance

And then bear in mind that each one of those contributions practically counts double since they are not entitled to any of the services paid for by those taxes

So they were stealing social security numbers to pay taxes! Amazing! Man I feel bad for those who got their identity stolen.

Oh man, that would hurt my argument. Where did you read that? I'm sure you can cite it and you're not just making it up because your whole thing is just being willfully ignorant about everything. That wouldn't describe you, would it?
