The internet: Body shaming isn't right

Even fitness models only look like that on the day of the photo shoot, it isn’t healthy
That I know. One of my best friends in high school used to be a body builder. Got absolutely swole and would dehydrate before his competitions. And while I would never do that to myself, I supported him fully as that's what made him happy.
Edit: We don't know if this dude is competing and if he's close to a companion if he is. It's not rightto body shame, and you can't act as if it's for health purposes off of one picture.
It's... "bodybuilding". If I see someone with awful face tattoos I'm allowed to think that I would never want to look like that. In both cases they specifically made the choice and spent the time/money to achieve exactly that specific, very noticable look.
Fantastic. You realize they specifically made the choice. And you can think however you want to about it. Don't then go online and talk about how it's terrible and/or make fun of the person.
That's called body shaming.
This is fundamentally no different than making fun of someone for obvious plastic surgery. Choices were made.

Fallacies can be either illegitimate arguments or irrelevant points, and are often identified because they lack evidence that supports their claim. You mocking someone about thier appearance is, yup, CHILDISH.
It's really weird how much emotion is in all of these responses but it's really silly when you then claim I am being emotional.
I've made no claims to my moral superiority but you and other have. That is a paradox.
We disagree on something. Calling me childish is a bully tactic.
I am true to myself and that offends people in weird silly ways. It results in them applying their imagined prejudices to me.
These are all logical fallacies and if there is one thing I've learned over the year is that those who deploy them are not worth arguing with and this is such an occurrence.
I knew it would lead here because the internet is predictable because people are predictable.
For example you will now ignore me or responses with an emotional response, dismisal of my position and list of logical facllicies you feel I am using because you aren't interesting in a discussion.

You're literally just defending why it's ok for you to be a bad person.
All I did was call out people for being bad people. You getting offended and defending why making fun of people is ok is childish. You then getting offended about being called about just proves how immature you are.

Your assumptions for my reasons for responding is based on your personal biases. It indicates a lack of curiosity as to who I am as in individual.
The only part of you I know as an individual is that you defend people making fun of other people appearances. No part of me wants to continue finding out who you are.
Go make fun of someone's political or envirmental beliefs and I may support you more. But to defend someone after they go after the way someone else wants thier own body to look? Nah, I'm good

It feels like you need to silence me and your method involves intimidating me. What is your justification for this.

I am most curious why your curiosity has this hardline and what makes you feel so extremely justified, so certain. All this allowing you to draw a hard line here of all places.
I expect you won't elaborate but I suspect it is all based on emotion and not logic.
I'm not sure if it was your another that indicated I should fear being body shamed myself and so how much of all this is based on your fear of being body shamed.
I know mine is partly based on not giving a shit if someone wants to make fun of me because I would never give another person that power over me.

That you use being offended to be offensive it is a common emotional response. So I accept the explanation that you are of simple mind in this regard.
You've have choosen to take the intolerance of one small opinion of mine and expanded it to total intolerance of me as a fellow human.

I look like shit, but that guy is going to die if he keeps taking such high doses of steroids. I don't celebrate the life choices of an emaciated heroin addict, and while I might not mock them either, it's understandable we might socially acknowledge that their behaviour is undesirable for a number of reasons. There's no need to eradicate any and all perceived criticism of others' choices, it feels a bit like you're using it as a cudgel or some sort of weaponised purity test.

In my daily life I expect, receive, and largely accept criticism for any poor decisions. I choose not to broadcast my daily life to the world via social media.
Your behaviour, ironically, comes across as bullying.
I don't have the time or desire to maintain an online presence, nor do I think that's a particularly healthy way to live. It's not the default mode of existence; it's an extremely recent phenomenon. If the cultural norm was to run naked down the street at 5pm with a stick up your arse, would deciding not to join in be "hiding"? Meanwhile, you seem to believe it's acceptable to bully people who don't conform to your ideal of human behaviour. That's fine, just reflect on the consistency of that logic.
Judging peoples choices regarding their own body that has nothing to do with anyone else makes the world less shitty.

Also, by this logic trans people should get mocked because they made those choices to their bodies and it's outside those norms, but i thought we were trying to be more accepting
