It'd be nice if they actually made episodes instead of half a dozen every couple years. Its like "oh new Dr Who episodes? Where did we leave off again? Do I really care anymore?"

I think Tahani from The Good Place makes fun of this in the best way. The quote is about a fake British show:

"It ran for 16 years in the BBC. They did nearly 30 episodes"

Its a good show with a very silly tone hiding some crazy plot lines

Probably don't have the budget, it's a very long running show as well. Only so much you can do before it's stale and not so good anymore.
