I don't see the need for the song and dance when he can pay 10k to a Turkmenistan mercenary or Ukrainian nazi to just Luigi him

The point of the song and dance is to rally the republican base against Ukraine. Now even fervent supporters of the war like Garahm are forced to disavow Zelensky. Meanwhile, Europe doubling down on support for the war makes it very easy to dump the whole project on them.
