Aren't these things like $80k? Let this be a warning to anyone still thinking "I'd be okay paying $x to not see ads". The ads will find their way in regardless of how much you pay because it's always an option for companies looking to squeeze out more money.

I'd be okay with paying money for not seeing ads, in fact I would love for all of my services to be paid for with money instead of my personal information.
I take great offense at companies taking my money and my information, a sentement I am sure anyone who rather pay money then see ads would agree on.

EDIT: Okey, I've read the article now and they are trying to sell extented warrenty, showing a popup on the infotainment system. That is just not okey.
