I never got to do this when this happened to me, but I have a rare-ish name that I pronounce in an unusual way compared to other people who have the same name, and if I pronounce my name correctly, that's what everyone for some reason agrees on anticipating as the official signal that I'm in distress.

Almost a decade ago. Was too silenced the whole time to be able to do anything.
