It's always a tricky line. I guess I'll keep it up as long as nobody says anything.

The whole process/routine this year has been a blur so forgive the part of us that seems out of the loop.

Michaelmas: Party/gathering as my house, complete with the full celebration. I invite everyone to these celebrations.

Halloween: I might cosplay but that's it. I don't really do the full celebration, I didn't truly grow up with it.

Thanksgiving: I'm not really "American" but have American friends and typically do something with them, this is their day.

Christmas: I might go to church and events but nothing major. I don't have the dynamics right now for anything spectacular.

"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together."

Oh you meant stimulants.

My favorite pick-me-up is having a crepe in the morning. Taking strolls may help too if that counts.

I guess being short. Even as a woman of my heritage, I tend to be shorter than people might expect, but these days I can't help but associate being tall with more issues.

As much as some people would like to voice concern about political figures, we kind of have a rule against that here (no matter what side it is). Nothing against you, just letting you know an hour in advance that we'll be putting the thread to rest.

This seems to be something people don’t always give second thought to. When people talk about the homeless, the first things thought about are images of people on busy city streets in rusty clothes waiting around near allies. In there, the answer is quite static, because it can be I guess. But if that’s the case, change the setting and that changes too. In the places where I’ve lived, people often needed that mapped out. Where are they known in your rural locales?

To those from the Western hemisphere, it’s always fascinating to hear that some homes and businesses from the times of the Greek philosophers still have inhabitants, and then you remember that the Western hemisphere is itself not without its own examples, for example some Mexican villages still have temples from the times of the Mayans.

Oh yeah. Same one, a friend gave it to me late into its associated history. I can confirm it has come with a higher sense of attentiveness towards negative happenings, though those around me seem far more alarmed at this and its potential existence as a cursed object than I am.

The Sonichu medallion that was gifted to me, let's just say things have been interesting to say the least.

That's the neat part, I'm not.

The fact they crackdown on sectarian activity like they're the old jedi order.

I would define it as any weapon which would be overkill (no pun intended) if you were to get them for any purpose aside from destruction, such as if you excused its possession on account of self-defense. One could say a regular handgun suffices as a tool of self-defense, you could take one shot and prevent the advancements of a perpetrator. To get something like an automatic gun of war or a flamethrower, supposedly for purposes of protection, is the self-defense equivalent of parents catching a small child eating all the cake while nobody is looking only to excuse themselves with "but I was hungry".

I can only imagine punching as a preventive/retaliatory act. Of note, I have met many people who went down an alarming path who would nevertheless not themselves wish a fly grief. However, I should note that in Nazi Germany, violence and even murder was "legal" as long as the violent person didn't beat around the bush in doing the act.

There are some exotic foods we tend to take for granted exist. Almost every city for example has a Chinese restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and maybe an Outback Steakhouse. But this isn't universal for some reason. Someone asked me if I wanted to go to an Egyptian restaurant and I was like "wait, they have restaurants?"

A question for all those who would say they consider themselves ethnically fluent. What are all the cultural categories of food you've had?

This refers to when two or more people encounter each other in completely coincidental fashion. You might notice your old classmate from three countries away is now your waiter in a place you had no reason to expect them in, and you might say "wow, what a small world". You might notice two people who you know from completely different spheres miraculously know each other. You might recognize by chance that your penpal has made a cameo at a venue you're at.

But what was your most profoundly coincidental encounter?

Unless on usurped or deceptive pretenses, I do not encourage the act of circumventing bans, and other people in charge would say the same.

That said, if someone gives off the vibes that they're in the business of it, it cannot be enforced as if it were an exact science. It can only be dissuaded based on certain definitive details. We kindly ask if you may give the benefit of the doubt, and if people (not us) have the authority to do so, they will act.

Let people higher up take care of these matters. Do not harass people or vent at them over such matters, and report people cautiously, not based on whims. Or as a list of rules once said...

"Remember the human" is as good a rule here as anywhere. Thanking all for their patience.

I might as well ask this since I got stung or bit by a bee yesterday during America day.

Last year, when taking strolls, it was rare enough for a bee to swarm around me that I could go whole strolls without it happening sometimes.

This year, they swarm around me everywhere. Everywhere. It's like fighting your way through putty patrollers. They respawn instantly, there's absolutely no lag. Shoo one away and one comes back five seconds later. Sometimes for three hour strolls encompassing six miles.

What the heck happened? Anyone else notice this?
