I think the interview went well! It was my first ever "dual" interview, so there was another applicant there. But it was a very casual interview with the owner of the cattery. Her dog was also there and just was all over me wanting pats ๐Ÿ˜‚

I should know by tomorrow!

I ended up walking and chatting with the other applicant, and she was so freaking cool! She's doing a PhD in archaeology, which I asked lots of questions about haha, and she was so down to earth - I walked her to her bus stop because she doesn't know the area well, and we added each other on insta ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

A dual interview sounds so weird. A group interview makes sense, but when it's you and one other person it feels like you're meant to compete with each other directly.

That's what I was worried about tbh, but it ended up being quite nice! It was more conversational and relaxed than I expected.

I imagine it's because we had the interview with the owner, who throws herself into her work and just wanted to make it a bit easier for herself - but yeah it was chiller than I expected.

Plus I made a new friend so nothing lost haha

Maybe planning on hiring both of you ...

The other applicant and I joked about that when we were walking together, about how it would be awesome if we both got it!

I hope I get it but I'm trying not to get my hopes too high haha
