Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

I don't think she should be careful. If anything, being as loud as possible and staying in the public eye is what all Democrats should be doing. Because if they do start deporting people that actually speak the truth everyone will know when and how it happens. You can't hide it and they can't effectively make a move against her that won't be seen by the entire world. And I think it's a sign that we all need to start doing this. If we're loud and seen instead of raging behind our phone screens it's a lot harder for people to just disappear.

Exactly. We are in this mess because the Democrats and the media immediately declared an obviously rigged election to be "fair & square" the moment it was over. Being smug about the "peaceful transfer of power" was more important to those weak cowards than protecting America from being destroyed by vicious Nazi traitors.

What's your evidence it wasn't fair and square? I mean actual sources, not the previously generalized high-level accusations like "they faked the vote count". I'd be very interested to see them.

[–] Captainvaqina@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You mean actual verified facts like hundreds of thousands of people being purged from roles in shithole red states by the fascist traitors?

Or do you mean like when the traitor himself said that Elon was "really good with the voting machines in Pennsylvania"?

Or "we don't really need your votes"?

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Something a little more concrete than contextualized public statements or the well known tactics of voter roll purges and gerrymandering, etc.

Like vote tallies not matching or something like that.

[–] Captainvaqina@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Gerrymandering does not apply to presidential elections.

They absolutely illegally purged enough voters to steal the election.

Cool - whatcha got? S.o.S. links?

[–] Captainvaqina@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I mean it's common knowledge. Not my fault you lack it.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Common, just not supported with any hard evidence.

I’d love to see the evidence is all i’m saying.

[–] Captainvaqina@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Educate yourself is all I'm saying. Not my job.

It's quite obvious that's not your end goal here though.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 0 points 2 days ago

My “end goal” is to get the evidence.

I highly suspect it, have no doubt laws were broken, but that and $6 will get me a fancy coffee.

Sounds like you don’t have the evidence either. Which, is understandable if there isn’t any.

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I didn’t mean “be careful” as in “don’t say these things,” I agree with you -she should DEFINITELY say these things. I mean “be careful” as in “don’t walk to your car unattended, answer the door without checking, talk to police, or take any meetings with someone you don’t know.” - that sort of careful.

[–] TommySoda@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Oh yeah, definitely. I just want her to be safe but also not back down even a little bit. She's making waves and needs to continue to do so.
