I would be interested to see what other countries are seeing.

Germany

Logitech MX Master 2S from 53.34 €

This is the MX Master 3S from the article (said to be going from 100 to 120$)

80 Swiss francs today, lowest at 62 (80 chf is around 98$).

I use that mouse for work and really like it. I was debating getting one for my home PC, too...

I’ve been using Logitech for decades because it’s Swiss, and good.

At least it was good, since the 'Logi' rebrand they started to follow the enshitification road and apparently they are trying to do some mouses with mandatory AI software bits.

Today I’m not sure my next mouse will be a Logitech, but I’ll cross that bridge when I’ll need a new mouse.

they are trying to do some mouses with mandatory AI software bits.

But Logitech software is already terrible.

Depends how they import products. Canada uses a lot of layaways in the US during shipping. There are also big ports in Alaska that are landing spots for items set to enter Canada.

If those are hit, then they will pass those increases to Canadians.

It’s going to be key now to cull the US. But I’m seeing HUGE increases in US only pricing. So yeah, not a good start for that shit hole.

I'm more wondering if corporations are going to corporation and just use the US tariffs as the excuse for globally up the prices.

They absolutely will, but no one wants to go alone. First they have to collude, which may already be happening.

Sony already did that with the PlayStation didn't they?

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 1 points 1 day ago

Already every commercial I hear on the radio is talking about "tariff pricing".

[–] primemagnus@lemmy.ca -1 points 1 day ago

So far no, it doesn’t look like it. No one wants anything to do with hiking prices and less to do with the US.

[–] any1th3r3@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They also increased prices in Canada, by 7-15% afaict.
eg: MX Master 3S went up ~14%, $140 to $160.

I’m pretty sure that’s due to rare earth metals and China. All I know is it likely won’t be a blanket increase like most think.
