Grounding cables do not exist in The Federation

I think safety is a pretty low priority in the federation, no seatbelts on any of their ships either
In the Kelvin timeline they have auto-expanding seatbelts that can go down when there's an emergency
They do actually they're just not used often and more often then not in shuttlecraft.
