Enterprise D consoles probably all rely on that one Regex library for JavaScript that everything is built on and has a new critical vulnerability discovered every month.
I'm the 24th century, they're still trying to patch the bugs out of that library - meanwhile ensigns are dying every time the shields go below 40%>
