Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I'd have bought a Deck even if it only lasted a few months, because I got one two months after launch on pre-reservation.

Well, that might just be where we differ. I don't find it fiscally responsible to drop 400+ on a piece of hardware I'd only use for 2 months.

I'm not telling you how to live your life, just saying that ain't for me, chief ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Are you being deliberately obtuse?

The device isn't going to cease to exist, just because it was only for sale for two months.

Even if it had only been for sale for two months, I'd have gotten to enjoy using it for at least three years by now.
