Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Any woman-identified person under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is welcome.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

That you're willing to share? I have made damn near every pancake recipe I could find in the internet and none of them were really fantastic. I don't know what's missing. They just seem... blah?

I'm looking for a fantastic, basic as hell pancake recipe. If you have one. And you're willing to share.

I will repay the entire internet in like... a week when I make the strawberry/watermelon jam-filled cupcakes.

Eew, pancakes are gross. Nothing but empty carbs to put sugar on, however if you want something that imo is still trash but better trash, buttermilk pancakes.

No recipe because no one should be eating pancakes, but the buttermilk will add more flavour to it..just make sure you add baking soda so the acid in the buttermilk reacts and causes carbon dioxide to form making them lighter/airy and fluffy.

Pancakes are basically a soft flat quick bread. Breads have been a staple of people's diets for milennia. You get out of it what you put in, so if you want more complex carbs just make them that way.

lots of ways to improve them health-wise: freshly milled or whole wheat flour (or even incorporating other flours), protein powder, adding walnuts or peanutbutter ... but tbh a couple of small pancakes with some eggs, fruit, and maybe something like a sausage can make it a balanced meal - there's nothing wrong with carbs per-se, though I agree using a refined flour and then covering in syrup is not the best, lol
