Airplane bathrooms aren’t communal, only one person can use the room at a time

What? Maybe we have different definitions of 'room,' but every airport I've been in has a room with several stalls. More than one person is able to use the room at a time.

Toilet stalls are private, the rest is communal. Often including urinals in the men's bathroom
