Has it stopped f#+-*' raining yet. Damn what a washout Saturday was. Thankfully Sunday had lots of dry spells as I was picking up a few things.

So if anybody recalls the crash that I witnessed on Friday on my way home and I said that a lady had called me about it later. I was getting on the ferry and asked her to call back in 45 minutes as I'd be home. She didn't call back but I listened to the voicemail she left. I've wiped it now but I thought she said can I call 000. On Saturday I did and the cop said that nobody would have called from the police, and anyway I've now called the emergency number. I apologised. So, who the heck was this woman, was she a scum bag reporter that somehow got my number because I called it in ? This is really weird.

Later that night not too far away a 34 year old motorcyclist lost his life not too far away on Mt Cotton road. Sadly he seems to have hit a stationary vehicle in the rain. Mt Cotton road is a damn dangerous road. I saw a gang of cyclists turning into it on Sunday morning and shuddered. Each to their own.

Hope you have a decent Monday.

The group of people I cycle with pretty much have a hard rule against riding in the rain.

It's more for comfort and an excuse to skive off than it is for safety, but that's an added bonus.

That voicemail you got was a weird story. Real weird.
