Today's game is a game called PEAK. My friend that i usually play games with gifted it to me after seeing it online somewhere. From what i can tell it's made by the same studio that made Clustertruck (that game about platforming on moving trucks). It's like a weird combination of climbing games and survival games. You have to climb to the peak of each mountain after crashing on an island.

Honestly though, me and my friend spent way too long just dicking around in the lobby. I have a clip that i've been sharing with friends of him just ragdolling off the top of a structure in the lobby like some Garry's Mod Ragdoll.

Once we actually got to the island though (after seeing how far we can exploit the climbing mechanic), it got a lot more difficult. The game's VC is proximity chat, but it has an echo to make everything carry. On top of that the landscape got wacky at some points.

We kind of quickly dug our own downfall though after my friend, while trying to make his way over to me too follow me up, landed on a Jellyfish and slid all the way down to the bottom of the mountain. He took a ton of damage, which in this game hurts your ability to climb. Luckily we were able too make it to the next section of the game.

Due to his injury though, he had landed right on a flower that explodes into some weird neurotoxin cloud and put me to sleep. Causing me to fall all the way down. If you take too long on a section the game throws fog at you which causes you to take damage like some weird battle royal ring. It slowly circles up so you have to hurry. When i fell i fell right into the fog and died there. My friend, too injured and stuck without me to help him up, decided to just throw himself into the fog.

We stopped our run after messing around in the lobby again for a while and having maybe just a little too much fun with the games emote system and physics. It's fun to see the character's models get shoved around by others. We spent maybe a little too long ragdolling off the top of things too (again).
