By equating these two countries and their horrible crimes you are severely downplaying what happened in the Holocaust.
I see your point but you're misinterpreting the meme. It's saying the act of decorating the Brandenburg gate this way is the same, not the two countries.
Both are nationalism
Both are supporting apartheid and discrimination
Im both cases, Germany is complicit in genocide

I reacted to a comment saying the meme would not want to compare nazi germany with Israel, which is obviously false as you can see by the reactions to my comment. If it wouldn’t compare the two countries, the meme would work with pride flags. But it doesn’t.
That meme is tasteless and antisemitic, just saying.
