my gaming laptop doesn't have Linux

Why not?

Haven't actually tried but I have bad experiences with Linux and dual graphics laptops.

Me too. I still can't get the Nvidia card to work on my Acer Nitro 5.

Had to upgrade to a better laptop when Dawntrail released on Final Fantasy XIV.

Don't listen to them. I've tried it and it's full of brain rot, slop, microtransactions, and a lot of inappopriate content. It's not even privacy friendly.

TL;DR:

DON'T
