Makes sense they wouldn't give a shit now.

It was only ever about money for them.

It's not too surprising that a for-profit company is all about the money. It's literally their obligation to make money for the shareholders.

Except many for profit companies have pulled out of Russia. Ethical businesses exist.

Maybe. Or maybe, they just calculated that they'd lose more money from the bad PR than they'd make from Russian business

Many were forced to by the sanctions. Some by proxy when they affected the banks, making it tough to transfer the profits.
