If you've followed the news recently, there's a trend of young men joining fascist fight clubs. How can we stem the tide? What underlying issues are causing this?

Your experience does not speak to the experience of others, it is your truth and your truth alone.

Dismissing the lived experience of others and their opinions of their experience is a big piece of the puzzle as to why young men are drifting right. It is a saw that cuts both ways and fells the tree no matter what way you pull or push.

So why is it that you don't understand their viewpoint? Because you have dismissed it and don't speak with people who percieve it with an open mind. Go on X and start reading the open opinions of those on the right, try to understand their viewpoint if you can't stand to tolerate others who think differently than you do in person.

No problem can be solved if you don't understand it.

I understand fascists just fine. It isn't exactly rocket science, and they definitely know better. They are hateful and insecure. Well, one because of the other. None of the problems they claim are real, and that's the point of my comment. Sometimes people are just wrong. Sometimes they even lie. I know, crazy.

It's not me who misunderstands them, it's them who refuses to understand the very basic elements of truth seeking, which is why they petulantly stand in opposition to common sense, science, expertise, and any other informed authority. They are not enlightened, they literally behave like children being told "no."

What is actually enforcing the view point though? How are these boys so threatened by something?
