Wired IEMs master race
Once you get them custom molded to your ears, you won’t want to go back.
Wired IEMs but wireless with the Qudelix 5K 💪
Got mine years ago, solidly built, have replaceable bits, and they sound as good as the day they arrived, so much better than the buds from apple or Samsung.
Any recommendations?
I tried the Moondrop Chu 2 and they were great, but after 6 months of daily use the sound is partially cutting out and I have to jiggle the wire to "fix" it temporarily. Need something more durable.

Excellent sound quality, durable+replaceable cables, and options between a TRS(aux) cable, USB C cable, or even a Bluetooth adapter.
Looks great. Thanks!
As the other replier mentioned crinicle is great for reviews. For IEMs I use the original moondrop Chu and they're good, I also use the kz zsn pro. Also good. But ultimately i really only use IEMs when I'm out on a run or walking to the shops where sound quality isn't as important. If at home I'll use over ear headphones and I have beyerdynamics dt770s which are great and super comfy (also built like a tank if durability is a concern)
Whatever the guy that starts with c- reviews them all. I've had good luck with his truthear reds. Only $50 but great for my needs.
Edit- Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED
Oh yeah, Crinacle is a legend. How long have you had these and how often do you use them?
Use maybe once every couple weeks since my dumb new phone doesn't have a jack (and have not found a suitable adapter. Seriously, screw phone manufacturers for removing it.)
I am no audiophile but the sound is very clear. I have an old pair of Klipsch that I've always liked (normal buds) and they have a bit more bass/low end but the fidelity on the Reds sounds so much better. For $50 I find it hard to go wrong. Maybe if you really want more bass you'd be advised to pick something else but I listen to a bit of everything so these work well for me.
I think there is a clear upgrade from the Moondrop Chu II as well since I got those just to work out in. Just hits the sweet spot in bang for the buck if you ask me.
I spent half a decade trying IEMs. Honestly its a journey. You need to find signatures you like. I found that i like mostly flat response but different people have different taste. My go tos are etymotic research. I've been using the ER3s for the past 5 years.
I would appreciate a flat response, but my top priority is durability. The earbuds that came with my phone 7 years ago lasted for 5 years.
I've gone through 2 more sets of earbuds and 1 set of IEMs (the Chu 2) in the last 2 years. Not sure if I'm particularly tough on them / use them more frequently than other people (probably), or if everything is just built like shit these days.
ER3's have been solid for 5 years so I'd say the durability is pretty good. I did have to replace the cable twice (you can detach the earbugs from the cables) but not because they aren't durable. It was because my cat, Sencha, chewed through them twice.
Ah yes, I know your cat Sencha from your posts lol. I'll check out the ER3s. Thanks!
The price is a bit steep. If you dont want to go all in you can get the cheaper models as well. They are all pretty good. It's what I did. I got cheaper models and used them for 2 years before i decided to get the ER3s.
