That was a very long way of saying, "I don't know pride flags"

Most bigots know which flags they hate. This is a moot argument.

That's a very short way of missing the point.

You think bigots or anyone else would bother recalling/recognizing flags of low relevance in their experience? It looks like faded red, white, and blue.

I'm sorry, bruh: you're just confirming everything I wrote about self-centered myopia.

Put a pride flag outside your house and count how many bigots start asking you about it. Go to any conservative event with a pride flag of any kind and they'll all know what it is.

It's okay to admit you didn't know something.

He is admiting he doesn't know. You don't understand that many other people other than you do not know.

Maybe some will if it's clearly a flag. This isn't a flag, though: it's a shirt with a vague color scheme.

Recognizing a flag there takes a step & a frame of reference. Again, you're just telling me it's clear from your perspective, which doesn't mean much.

For something to hit hard, it first needs to hit the audience it's directed at, which isn't you. If only likeminded thinkers it's not directed at think it hits, then it isn't hitting shit.

But sure: go ahead and discount an outside perspective telling you they're not getting this. Pretend it doesn't matter because likeminded thinkers in your echo chamber do get it, so of course everyone else should get it, too. That's totally valid reasoning & not exactly the way a fundamentalist thinks.
