The infantry combat feels good and chaotic. Having maps like Operation Metro and Operation Locker ported to BF6 would be perfect.

I didn't get much opportunity to test the vehicles tho. My computer was lagging a lot in the larger maps due to not having enough RAM.

edit: also, I really hope they do something about the cheaters. I'm already giving EA kernel level access to my computer because of that anticheat. Having cheaters in BF6 is beyond unacceptable.

Yeah they use DMA hardware controlled by another PC to completely bypass the kernel level anticheat. It basically makes their wallhacks and some other things that aren't replicated by the server completely imperceptible. I think anti cheat lost the arms race, we need to return to community run servers with dedicated teams of mods and admins to keep an eye on this stuff.

Cheaters are not going to go away as a matter of fact valorant which is one of the best ftp games with cheaters still has a lot of cheaters. CSGO hasnt changed. Its impossible but thats because the anticheat approach is just code based. They need to use multiple approaches. I find it funny how someone with a 100% headshot rate and a 0% miss rate still doesnt get auto banned.

I bet cheating will probably always be present until the game is being run in a trusted environment (a server) and the video feed is sent to clients.

This or running our own servers and kicking the cheaters out whenever they show up.
